The Story of My Life

I was born in 1999 to parents Brent and Cathy Williamson who were at the time pastoring a church in Indiana. Two years after I was born we moved to Ohio and have lived here ever since. I have grown up in church and as a Pastor’s kid all of my life. Even though I was in church and being discipled by my parents, I was merely going through the motions of Christianity. I never truly repented and had a deep relationship with Jesus for myself.

There were several times throughout my early school years where I tried to rebel against the Lord for the purpose of “fitting in” with friends and wanting to feel accepted. In 8th grade, I began failing school, hanging out with lukewarm Christians and was not living for any real purpose in life. One night I was riding home in the car with my mom and she said to me, “Hannah I believe the Lord is saying when you give your life to Me everything else will fall into place. Your grades, your life, and your purpose.” In that same car ride I believe I also heard the Lord speak personally to me, “Be sure your sins will find you out.” About a week later, my sins found me out and at age 13 I realized I did not truly know the Lord for myself. I remember how broken I was in that moment. I knew I needed the Lord and could not live this life without Him! I repented and put my faith and trust in Jesus. Almost immediately the Holy Spirit began to transform my life!

Shortly after, I made some friends who loved the Lord, my grades all went up, and I passed the 8th grade.

After salvation, I remember spending hours in the secret place reading my Bible, worshipping and praying. The Lord did a deep work in me over time and helped me get rooted in Biblical truth. My parents continued to disciple me, teach me church history, and helped me become a solid disciple of Christ.

While I was still a teenager, my parents ended up launching their first church plant. I had the honor of serving under them alongside our other family members and core group for several years wherever help was needed. When I reached the age of 16, I remember having a powerful encounter with the Lord that greatly impacted me. I was in my room alone in prayer when all of a sudden I felt the manifest presence of God like never before. I received the gift of tongues in that moment and stayed up for hours into the middle of the night continuing on in prayer and in worship. This was a significant moment in my life! After this night with the Lord is when I really started to seek out the purpose He had for my life.

All throughout this time I had such a passion for social media and posting about the Lord online. I had a heart to see people and the church get back to Biblical truth and be sold out to Christ. From those posts, I believe the Lord led me to put my passion for technology to use and start to make more video content instead. In August 2018 at the age of 19, I launched a Youtube channel under my name, “Hannah Williamson”. I began to upload videos and content with the heart to see my generation know the Lord, be discipled, and be set free.

I am now 23 years old, still making Youtube content, living at home with my amazing family, attending Community Family Church, and traveling all over the United States preaching, speaking and making disciples.

I am so grateful for how the Lord has transformed my life and for my parents who have sacrificed so much time raising my little sister and I in His ways.

I hope and pray to see this generation be living sacrifices for Christ, be led by the Holy Spirit, walk in freedom, be fully submitted to the Word of God, and advance His kingdom all for His glory!
